The reason I originally published this work was that on the 29th March 1998 I took my third Dan grading. This was heavily based on the terminology of karate and this was the results of my studying, but now my grading is over I am still adding and expanding entries. If by publishing it on the web, it assists anyone else then this can only be good for karate. Best of luck to all in any future grading's you may be facing.

For me, I train under Sensei Mick Billman who is a 7th Dan and is the head of the Traditional Shotokan Schools Of Karate, (T.S.S.K.). Sensei Billman has over 30 years experience and is one of the executive Members of the technical committee of the English Karate Governing Body the E.K.G.B.
